Fiona Campbell and her team of designers produce some of the best handmade curtains in London, for their ever-widening client base, in the UK and abroad. Visit her recently refurbished Parsons Green Showroom, where clients can browse through her extensive selection of fabrics & trimmings, wallpapers, and discuss their interior decorating requirements in comfortable surroundings.
Curtain design, both contemporary and traditional, has always been the speciality for Fiona, and her well-trained team of experienced designers. Curtains are made on site, under the watchful eye of each job’s designer, and the finish is always immaculate, whether it is for simple neutral curtains, or elaborate swags and tails. Soft furnishings and furniture are supplied through tried and tested sources and the bespoke lampshade business flourishes.
Her great belief for maintaining her client-base, is to always allow the client to be involved with their interior design decisions, and never to dictate a particular ‘style’ to the client. She uses her individual flair and makes great use of colour, always making sure the client agrees with the choices offered. After all, it is the client who has to live in their home at the end of the decorating process.
Fiona has always been interested in product design and very often creates bespoke designs of trimmings for her client’s curtains and soft furnishing. So much so that this year she has also launched a new design of round-backed armchair, fitting into city or country homes, both contemporary and traditional. Prices start at £850.00 plus 4.5metres of fabric. These are featured on the website furniture pages. They are already selling really well – which shows there is nothing like an experienced designer to get it right!
This year, the website has been re-designed and from this we receive a constant stream of good enquiries, together with enquiries through the House & Gardens Address Book, and many links we have now set up. Fabric sales to customers through the website, and passing trade from the locals and visitors to Parsons Green are as good as ever, with the experienced shop staff helping customers with their interior design colour schemes, giving customers lots of time to browse.
